SEPULCRUM returns with Lacerator, the band’s second full-length album and the successor to 2023’s Lamentation of Immolated Souls. Following the release of the Evoking the Abominations split in 2025, the Chilean quartet expands upon the sound that has defined them since their beginnings: uncompromising death metal driven by sharp songwriting, dark atmosphere, and technical execution.
Influenced by the classic sound of the late ’80s and early ’90s while maintaining a modern sense of dynamics, SEPULCRUM delivers memorable riffs, intricate arrangements, and a cohesive collection of songs that favors substance over excess.
Featuring members of Horrifying and Hallux Valgus, Lacerator was mixed and mastered by Benjamín Barrantes, with cover artwork by Nox Fragor Art, completing a release that reflects the continued strength of Chile’s contemporary death metal underground.
